About

The Fountain is a new United Methodist Church on the south end of Forsyth County. It is located in the fastest area of growth in the state of Georgia at the crossroads of Suwanee, Johns Creek, and Cumming. Worship gatherings are held every Sunday at 10:30AM at Johns Creek Elementary School. In June 2011, Rev. Andy Lett was appointed to begin this new church. After months of preparation and gathering people, The Fountain had its official community launch as a new church on March 4, 2012. The Fountain is a church that is “leading people to life, hope, purpose, and wholeness through Jesus Christ”.

History

The Fountain began with God’s vision to reach new people with the love of Jesus Christ in south Forsyth County. In 2009, Andy and Mandy Lett began to hear God’s call to eventually plant a new church. This desire came out of their deep passion to connect so many people who have been disconnected from the church, a relationship with Jesus Christ, and have searched for the kind of life Jesus offers. Along with the Lett’s desire to one day plant a church, the North Georgia Conference recognized south Forsyth County as the fastest area of growth in the state of Georgia and an area with a great need for a new church. In June 2011, God’s dream of starting a new United Methodist Church in south Forsyth County became a reality as Andy was appointed by the North Georgia Conference to plant The Fountain.
