Rev. Andy Lett - Lead Pastor
Andy Lett was appointed by the North Georgia Conference to begin the work of starting The Fountain United Methodist Church in June 2011. Andy grew up learning about Jesus in the church and gave his life over to Christ in the seventh grade. God called Andy into ministry when he was seventeen years old and he has been preaching and leading in the church ever since. His greatest passion is to connect people to life, hope, purpose, and wholeness through Jesus Christ.
Andy is from Duluth, Georgia. He graduated from Duluth High School where he sang in the choir and was a three-sport athlete playing football, baseball, and basketball. He received his Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia in 2007. Andy received a Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky in 2010. He was commissioned as a provisional elder in the United Methodist Church on June 16, 2010.
Andy married his wife, Mandy, on July 18, 2009. Mandy is an elementary school teacher at Settles Bridge Elementary School. They have a son named Peyton who was born in the fall of 2012.
Before planting The Fountain, Andy served as the Associate Pastor at Griffin First UMC where he started and was the Lead Pastor of a new contemporary worship service called The Branch. Andy has also served as Youth Minister at Norcross First UMC and First Baptist of Macon, the Ministry Team Leader for the Wesley Foundation of Macon, and Assistant Minister at East Macon UMC. He has preached for retreats, youth conferences, church revivals, and worship services throughout the Southeastern United States and in Japan.
Andy enjoys playing and watching any sport, and performing all types of music at churches. He is a die hard Tennessee Vols football and Atlanta Braves baseball fan. Andy has a deep love for Jesus, people, and God’s Church.
